Good morning!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to share the holiday with your friends and family. Our family got together at my sister’s house for the fifth year, and the food was BANGIN’.
I will be heading out shortly to go shopping for Black Friday with my sister. It’s a tradition of ours, and one that we both enjoy immensely. Before I do so, I wanted to give a heads up of what’s to come. I am challenging myself to get back in the spirit of blogging as I celebrate the holidays. I’m calling it the 25 Days of Christmas (you know, like the holiday movies I love that come on ABC Family). Each day, my plan is to share a holiday-related post. I won’t lie to you and promise that I’ll make it. I certainly hope I do. However, the idea of coming up with 25 topics is a bit daunting. Feel free to shoot any ideas my way.
I’d also like to remind you of Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday. Most of us that are shopping today will be heading towards the heavy hitters – your Best Buys, Targets, malls – just remember to frequent your local establishments and give back to your favorite charities as well.

There is a lot going on in my world. Is it earth shattering? No. Is it getting heavy for me? Yes. Then one of my BFFs tagged me in an Instagram chain whatsitjiggy. Background: I don’t like chain thingamajigs.
I immediately panicked and texted her about the chain thing. Then I did it anyway. Because I was at least one glass in and thought it would left me up a little.

My cousin was in from out of town one weekend and because she liked our Instagram pictures from rock climbing, she wanted to go with us. It was up to my sister to inform her of the proper rock climbing attire – she did not do so. When my cousin and my sister arrived at my house, I hadn’t finished getting dressed yet. I was, at that point, in a sports bra and yoga pants.
Me: [Seeing her colored denim and Gucci loafers] What are you wearing?? We’re going rock climbing.
Cousin: Nobody told me what to wear. I didn’t know.
Me: My sister was supposed to tell you so you didn’t come out all super cute and stuff.
Cousin: Well, I didn’t know we were going to be showing off six-packs.
Me: [Looking down at my stomach] Girl. That is not a six-pack, it’s a deep breath.
