Day 24: Fashion Inspiration - Pajamas!

Pajamas are one of my favorite things. I adore them. They can be cute or sexy, cool or warm, but most importantly, they are comfy and cozy. My stepmother has gifted me with a few pajama sets from Victoria Secret’s PINK line for the last few years. I love them. I also enjoy getting nice and comfortable in my PJs on Christmas Eve and waking up and opening gifts in them. Looking for some inspiration? I’ve got some choices here.

Here’s the comfy section! I’m a huge fan of boxers (men’s and women’s – they’re both comfortable to me) and this Dreamer Flannel Boxer PJ set in Christmas Plaid from VS ($45) looks extremely comfortable. If you’re not into shorts, there’s always the Dreamer Henley Pajama Set (currently on sale for $39.50), which has pants instead. Both Dreamer sets come in several prints and colors. There’s also the men’s inspired set that always looks classic to me. Try the Bluebella Claudia set on ASOS ($69). Or a TLC “Creep” style of Crazy Sexy Cool Pajamas at VS, too – the Afterhours Satin Pajama seems perfect for that. (Don’t know what I’m talking about? Check out the video on YouTube.)

Now for the slightly sexy selections. Keep some comfort with these two Satin Cami & Short Sets from Victoria’s Secret ($52) and ASOS ($47). Want to go a step further? Check out this lace set from H&M ($24.99).

Day 20: Cee's Holiday Style

Time to share how I did holiday style this season. We had two family parties – my mother’s party last Saturday with the Lip Sync Battle (left) and my sister’s party last night with Family Feud (right). Forgive the terrible photos. I kept forgetting to get a picture of my ensembles during the parties.

Because I was hosting the Lip Sync Battle, I got a little fancier and indulged myself in the opportunity to wear my tulle skirt (Broke Girl Style). I paired it with an H&M t-shirt that I’ve had for a year or two, a red ribbon I pulled from another article of clothing and shimmery gold shoes (Brash, Payless).

On the right, I went for a more casual look and kept the shimmery gold shoes for a bit of fun. I bought the sweater specifically for this outfit for $20 at Marshalls. Added a long gold necklace (J. Crew) and white jeans (Blue Ashphalt, Wet Seal).

I prefer the outfit on the right, though the tulle skirt always makes me feel fancy and ladylike.

Day 10: Social GatheringTop Left: Styled Avenue; Top Right: 36th Avenue; Bottom Left: Oh Mai Darling (slightly edited); Bottom Right: Work Outfits

Obviously a party is a social gathering. But for this post, I mean the get togethers with friends, family and or any non-work party, really. I love the idea of sequins and glitter for winter holidays, as you can see. They’re just so festive. However, I’ve included less or non-sequin/glitter options for those who aren’t too keen on it. Outfits 2 (top right) and 3 (bottom left) are my favorites.

Looking for some of these items? I’ve done a bit of the heavy lifting for you. Check out the pieces below.
